Softball Winter Training Registration
It’s time for Softball Winter Training Registration! We’re excited to continue the success of our Fall 2023 program and to build on the progress our players have made. It is important for our players to get as many reps in as possible to prepare for a fun and competitive Spring season.
GRAA Softball is offering an 8-week Winter Training session at Extra Innings in East Hanover. This is a new facility for our program, but we are excited about the new venue and the coaching it has to offer. The program will run for grades 2-8 in January and February 2024. This Winter Training will provide an opportunity for our players to receive instruction from professional coaches in a top softball facility.
∙ Sessions will be for one hour every Tuesday or Wednesday evening (depending on grade and grouping) for 8 weeks beginning the second week of January 2024 and ending in the last week of February 2024.
∙ The Tuesday sessions are scheduled for 1/9, 1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20 and 2/27, with slots at 5:30 and 6:30.
∙ The Wednesday sessions are scheduled for 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/21 and 2/28, with slots at 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00.
∙ Each session will be one hour long.
∙ Winter Training will primarily focus on hitting. Please bring your bat and helmet. The players should also bring their gloves and fielding masks in the event of throwing or fielding drills.
∙ The price is $280 per player
∙ Please indicate on the registration form if your child has a direct conflict with any of the dates or times the program is being offered. While we may not be able to accommodate everyone’s schedule, we will do our best to make sure that every player who wants to participate can.
Immediately following Winter Training, we will invite players that have or intend to register for the Spring 2024 season to an evaluation session led by independent coaches. This will help GRAA Softball set rosters for the teams and get us ready to begin the Spring season as soon as possible.
