GRAA Promotion Policy

For GRAA events:
  • For sport registrations, we will send out a GRAA-wide email and post to GRAA Social media:
  • when the registration is open
  • midway through registration (if requested)
  • last call before the registration closes
  • We will also send the registration notice one time through the GR school system.
  • For sport fundraisers (i.e. sport stores, Chipotle fundraisers, carwashes, etc.), we ask that you send the fundraiser through your sport’s registration. In These are not GRAA-wide emails and will not be sent through the GRAA wide email list. Please post these fundraisers on your sport’s social media. You may tag the main GRAA account for re-posting of 2 times maximum (we suggest one re-post to announce, and one final reminder)
  • For championship games, we will send a note to the GRAA community for teams that play in state championship or league championship games.
For non-GRAA events:
  • GRAA does not use its main email list or main social media accounts to promote non-GRAA events.
  • If a GRHS sport would like to promote its event via GRAA it should reach out to the corresponding GRAA sport’s commissioner. It is at the discretion of the GRAA Sport Commissioner how to help support the event and whether to send a note through the sport-specific registration.
  • Other organizations are recommended to reach out to the Glen Ridge public school system.
  • For new high school sports that are extensions of existing GRAA sports, we will send out a single note about the new sport and any fundraising needs. We have done this with freshman basketball and the weight room.
  • For GRHS Semi Finals/Championship games, we will send out a single email / social post asking GRAA community to come out in support
