We Need Coaches!
GRAA fall sideline cheer is looking for volunteer coaches to assist with coaching the PeeWee Cheer Team (grades 2nd & 3rd) and Junior Cheer Team (grades 4th & 5th). Coaches are responsible for holding practices twice a week and lead the cheerleaders at Red Dog football games on Saturdays (rain or shine) each week. The fall season begins the first week of school through the first week of November. Cheer commissioner Jen Anderson and older cheerleaders will be available to help with practices/games the first few weeks and will pass on sideline cheers. We welcome volunteers with no experience (and will help you out) or with lots of experience to help grow our program!
GRAA Cheer is a fun program designed to introduce athletes to the sport of cheer, teaches cheers/dances, provides opportunities for stunting/tumbling, and fosters community pride by rooting for the Glen Ridge Red Dogs.
Please reach out to Jen Anderson at cheer@graa.org with questions or if you are willing to coach this fall.
