Softball Fall 2024 Registration is open!
GRAA Softball is excited to announce registration for our Fall 2024 Softball season!
Registration is now available for rising 2nd – 8th graders. The Fall Softball Season typically begins after Labor Day and ends in late October/early November. Coaches will be in touch later in the summer regarding exact start dates for each team.
League and roster decisions will be determined after the registration window closes. League play will be available for 8U and up, providing we have enough players in each age group. If player numbers for a team exceed league roster caps, coaches will use discretion to decide which players play in which games, but there will be no cuts. This will allow all players to both practice throughout the season and have an opportunity to play in games.
Please note that since Fall Softball is considered a secondary sport by many towns, the competition level in the Fall is more competitive than in the Spring, and rec leagues are unavailable. Coaches may also consider entering teams into tournaments or scrimmages to supplement the league play.
Our goal for the Fall season is to give newer players at the 8U (8 yo and under) an opportunity to play and learn, including the potential for league play. For our older players (10U and up), games will be played in leagues that are competitive and will give the players the opportunity to grow their skills.

* The game play decisions for each team will be determined by league availability and player availability, especially for pitchers and catchers. As such, this registration form will ask parents to indicate player position and general player availability for games.
For Grades 3-8, the registration fee of $175 is available until July 22 11:59pm EST. Beginning July 23rd the registration fee of $227.50 will apply. Registration will close on July 31, 2024 11:59pm EST.
For 2nd Grade, the registration fee of $100 is available until July 22 11:59pm EST. Beginning July 23rd the registration fee of $130.00 will apply. Registration will close on July 31, 2024 11:59pm EST.
Important:
– Each player will need a glove, cleats, a batting helmet with a cage, a softball safety mask and a bat (bat is optional for 2nd Graders);
– Our program is dependent on parent volunteer coaches. If you are interested in coaching in any capacity, please indicate as such on the registration page.
– The fee does NOT include the price of a team uniform, which is required for game participation (2nd graders may not need a uniform);
– We will contact any new players regarding ordering a uniform; and
