Field Hockey Board Member Search

GRAA Field Hockey is seeking two new board members for the Fall 2024 season and beyond. Incoming members will join existing Commissioner Lynn Vande Stouwe and board members Julie Mascari and Meghan Dineen in administering the 1st thru 8th grade rec program, which serves 140+ athletes of all skill levels. No field hockey skills or playing experience are required; board members need only a willingness to pitch in and help the program run smoothly for our parent volunteer coaches and players.

Potential roles, to be coordinated with existing board members, include

Treasurer: help draft & review seasonal budgets; track expenses including equipment orders; coordination with GRAA treasurer.

Operations: assist commissioner with game & field scheduling; coordinate with commissioner and coaches re: weather delays & cancellations

Team Snap: work with coaches on team rostering; update practice/game info as needed throughout season

Uniforms/Team Store: manage ordering & distribution of uniforms and season-end collection; coordinate with vendor to open team merch store 2x per year
